This page outlines the “Terms and Conditions” under which you may use our website. If these are not acceptable to you then please do not use our website.  Use of the website indicates that you are happy to accept these Ts & Cs. 

www.johnnys-fearfactory.com  is operated by Johnny’s Entertainments Tyneside (registered company number 01090957 and address Johnny’s Entertainments, Pleasureland, Marine Road West, Morecambe, Lancashire, LA4 4BU, trading as Johnny’s, Vista, Soul Bowl, Jump Rush and Pleasureland. 

  • Please note, this is an experience that is designed to scare and includes live actors. We will always have your safety and enjoyment in mind but you should expect to be scared and our actors may use threatening language, behaviour and offensive language during your experience. If you are offended by any of this then you should not purchase tickets.

 

  • Your experience will involve fogging, strobe, low visibility, flashing lights and uneven surfaces. Do not attend if you are sensitive to any of this.

 

  • We will not tolerate any physical or threatening abuse of our live actors. Please be assured that they are fully trained in your safety and will not carry out any actual physical actions, although their behaviour will be scary, intimidating and threatening at times.

 

  • Do not touch any of the décor or actors. This is for your own safety. You will be asked to leave if you ignore this rule.

 

  • If you are of a nervous disposition or have any condition that may be impacted by sudden scares or movements you should consult your doctor before attending.

 

  • If you have any medical conditions or history that may hinder your ability to enjoy this event including cardiovascular disorders, pregnancy, epilepsy, back issues, pregnancy, arthritis, breathing difficulties or diabetes then you should consult a medical professional prior to attending.

 

  • No items of a dangerous nature will be permitted – including weapons (real and fake), fireworks and large bags. Bag checks will be in place.

 

  • The experience involves walking on uneven ground and up and down stairs. You should ensure you are of suitable physical fitness and have appropriate attire and footwear.

 

  • If we deem you to be above a reasonable threshold of alcoholic consumption then we reserve the right to refuse admission. We have a zero tolerance to drugs. We operate a Challenge 25 policy and you should be prepared to show your ID to purchase alcohol.

 

  • By purchasing a ticket and attending this event you accept and assume all the risks associated in participation. The operator, all associated companies, Directors, landlords and employees are released from any liability for cost, harm, injury or death resulting from attendance of this event, either directly or indirectly.
  • JOHNNY’S FEAR FACTORY is a horror theme park that includes several attractions. As with any theme park, expect queue lines for each attraction. Therefore please arrive as early as possible for your allocated 2.5hrs session to allow time to visit all the attractions.  You will be required to leave at the end of your session time.  
  • No camera/phone camera or torch use is permitted during any of the horror zone experiences (Ghost Ride, Hallway of Horrors, Weirder Things, Electrotag.) This is not only to ensure your enjoyment but also the enjoyment of people attending the event in future. You may be asked to leave the event with no refund if you use a photographic devices in any of the horror zones.  Cameras are however permitted in the public bar areas. 
  • Food and drink can be purchased on site and own food and drink is not permitted. We reserve the right to carry out bag checks.
  • We are sorry but due to the nature of the experience, some of the areas will not be wheelchair accessible.
  • Please note that there may be queues at busy times for the horror zones. Your ticket gives you access for 2.5 hours to allow you time to visit all attractions.

ADULT (13+) SESSIONS

  • The adult session is for those aged 13+ years only – it is NOT designed for young children. All those under the age of 17 MUST accompanied by an adult – we may refuse admission if this is not the case. We will request proof of age and you may be denied entry if you are unable to provide this. Please visit family session if you are easily scared.
  • You may be asked to split your group on arrival. This will enhance your horror experience. If you choose to stay in a larger group then please bear in mind that your scare experience may be negatively impacted.

FAMILY SESSIONS

  • The family session is intended for those aged 8+ and their guardians. Younger or nervous children are not advised to attend and if you bring younger children then you do so at your own risk.

ELECTROTAG/LASER TAG

  • Electrotag will run during Adult 13+ sessions. Electrotag is not recommended for anybody with pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators or similar devices. Any history of heart problems, epilepsy or similar heart problems should consult their doctor before playing. If in any doubt of a personal health issue then do not put yourself at risk.
  • Those aged under 15 will use a non-electrified version of Electrotag during the Adult 13+ sessions. ID will be required or you may not be permitted to use the electrified version.
  • All family sessions will run a non-electrified Laser Tag version of the session only.
  • You should not run during these sessions and follow all safety instructions at the time.
  • All tickets are non-refundable (unless event cancelled) and non-exchangeable. You must ensure you have your tickets downloaded and available to scan on arrival. No ticket means no admission to the event. Please ensure to check all email folders, including junk, to make sure you have received your ticket. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a valid ticket before the event. Please always check ticket purchases as mistakes can not be rectified later.
  • We reserve the right to amend dates and programmes of events due to circumstances beyond our control and are not liable for any refunds or exchanges in this instance.
  • We do not offer refunds or exchanges on ticket purchases except in exceptional circumstances and cancellation of events. We can not be held liable for any loss, damage or theft of tickets.
  • If an event is cancelled, you will be offered tickets at a rescheduled event up to the face value of the tickets or, if you are unable to attend the rescheduled event or the event is not rescheduled, a refund of the face value of the tickets.
  • Any liability on our part is restricted to the face value of the ticket purchased and does not include any ancillary costs such as hotels or travel.
  • In the event of an event postponement we will honour your ticket purchase for the rescheduled date, of which you should ensure you are aware.
  • It is your responsibility to check the status of an event and any cancellations/postponements.
  • If you are unable to make your intended date then we may be able to switch to an alternative date for you although this is not guaranteed. Please message us on info@johnnys-morecambe.com and allow at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • Your ADULT 13+ SESSION ticket will give you admission to the event – including the Johnny’s and Hitchen’s bar areas. You will also receive one-time use tokens for each of the 4 horror zones (Weirder Things, Electrotag, Ghost Rider and Hallway of Horrors). Your session will last 2.5 hours. All those under 17 MUST be accompanied by an adult. You should ensure you are there with enough time to make the most of your experience and be prepared that there may be a wait time for the horror zones. You will be required to leave at the end of your allocated session time.
  • Your FAMILY SESSION ticket will give you admission to the event – including the Johnny’s and Hitchen’s bar areas. You will also receive one-time use tokens for a milder version of the 2 horror zones Weirder Things and Ghost Rider plus the Laser Tag zone. Your session will last 2.5 hours. You should ensure you are there with enough time to make the most of your experience and be prepared that there may be a wait time for the horror zones. You will be required to leave at the end of your allocated session time.
